About me

Jesse Lirola is a photographer based in Chicago. Being the son of two photographers a camera was never far from hand. Loving music all his life the camera became the instrument to capture what he could not create. He has captured a wide range of artists from Jay-Z to Pinetop Perkins and Jim James to Lil Wayne. His work has been in publications such as RollingStone, Spin, to New York Magazine & US Weekly. When not in Chicago, New York, or Los Angeles he is at a music festival or concert preserving what he loves best for all to see.

Jesse Lirola uses a variety of cameras depending upon the needs of the particular job: Leica M (digital or film), Rolleiflex TLR, Hasselblad 503 & X-Pan or a Nikon D3 with Leica-R Primes.
